OUR STORY
After ten years working at CAMC and Montgomery General Hospital, the owner -Todd Warner started his first physical therapy private-practice in Kanawha City, West Virginia. From October 2003 until April 2015, Todd 100% owned and operated this successful physical therapy center. During that time, Todd or his business won “Best Physical Therapist” ten years in a row as voted on by readers of the Charleston Newspapers in their annual “Best in the Valley” contests.
In the winter of 2015, Todd received his Master’s Degree from Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois in Evangelism and Leadership. He experienced a profound calling to start a non-profit organization and devote his time to it. So, in the spring of 2015, he acted on this calling – sold the business – and created Catalyze, Inc. He has since established this ministry and plans to continue to allow the love and teachings of Jesus to continue to transform himself, others, and the West Side neighborhood in Charleston, West Virginia through a network of small bible study groups.
Since then, Todd also worked part-time in an award-winning clinic at Teays Physical Therapy Center and learned a lot there as a staff therapist. However, he found himself missing his patients in the Charleston area – especially making splints and offering hand therapy. After a lot of prayer and encouragement from his wife, Kimberly, they came to believe that he could continue Catalyze, Inc. and open their second successful physical therapy private practice – IMPROVE Physical Therapy & Hand Center, LLC. – in September 2017.
Fortunately, Todd was contacted by two of his very close and talented friends – Tim Davis PTA and Diann Lovejoy (administrative specialist) about joining him in the endeavor. Todd, Tim, and Diann have worked with each other for years, care deeply about each other, and create a great team that will provide unbeatable patient care.
Mr. Warner’s credentials (See the ABOUT THE STAFF section) include: 23 years of experience, expertise with the upper extremity (Certified Hand Therapist), expertise with low backs/necks (Certified McKenzie Specialist), owning and operating a highly successful first clinic, proven success with getting patients better and achieving outstanding patient satisfaction, and a deep love for people.
We hope to create an unbeatable patient experience when taking therapy at IMPROVE Physical Therapy & Hand Center, LLC. Our mission is to get people better, so they can enjoy life.
